A wonderful adventure for all ages.
We all enjoyed bouncing over the moors in the 'rovers and hiking along the Burn. Our lunch in the bothy was a special treat for the stalwart hikers
We loved seeing the tree-growing, windfarms and hydro projects in their Land Rover Defenders, followed by lunch in one of their "alpine" chalets in their hills.
Forest Disc Golf
All ages can enjoy exploring our ancient woodland alongside some family friendly competition while playing a game of Disc golf.
We have a course with 7 keeps ("Holes"), and 10 discs ("Frisbees") for you to use on this fun family activity.
Tennis
Our newly resurfaced tennis court sits on the site of the old Farr House and there are racquets and balls available for you to borrow.
If tennis doesn't appeal, then why not try shooting some hoops on the same court or have a go at croquet or boules on the grass next door.
Simulated Game Shooting
Our simulated game shooting days are fun for a range of abilities and take in the beautiful surroundings of Farr Estate.
Contact us directly to make a day of it with a home cooked lunch served at Glenkyllachy Lodge or do a half day only.
This activity is for 6-12 adults and we can provide shot guns and cartridges.
A unique Highland experience
We had a great time. It got very competitive. We did well when the flushes were not too quick but it was a different matter when Peter ramped up the flush speed. The sky was full of clays and it was easy not to take a deliberate aim and miss and this was not on the quickest setting. Hoping to invite some friends to another day.
